S’Kitty came to us through a Good Samaritan who found him and initially took him in until he found Animal Outreach. This little guy is so full of life — too full perhaps (is that even possible?). While awaiting his forever home at the PetSmart – Greenwood Adoption Center, another kitten injured his eye during exuberant play.
Treatment was tried, but sadly, our partnering veterinary clinic, Banfield – The Pet Hospital, has determined that the eye must go! I hardly think it will slow him down any! He’s still purring through all the pain and discomfort — I am sure the pain meds are helping with that!
Banfield — The Pet Hospital’s wonderful staff will be performing the surgery at a drastically reduced cost to us. They are just wonderful that way! We are looking for 10 Guardian Angels to chip in $20 to make this a reality and get him on the road to recovery! Of course, any amount will help with his surgery! Please donate to S’Kitty today!
A charity car wash will be held at the Starbucks in Shelbyville Saturday, July 31st, from 8am – 8pm. Jessica C, barista at Starbucks, is spearheading this fundraiser with the help of friends and fellow …
