Gibson, minus a leg

Submitted by on June 23, 2010 – 1:00 amOne Comment

Finally sharing pictures of Gibson, post-amputation. This little guy was severely injured on a farm that has a managed feral colony.  At 6-weeks old Gibson had to have his back leg amputated (Thank you Dr. Lee at Banfield-Greenwood). Gibson and his sister will be fixed the 29th and available for adoption. Julie, Owner of The Dog Wash, has kindly fostered him and his sister, so they’ll be used to dogs of all sizes!

Gibson, and sister Kashi, were adopted together by a loving family with two small terriers! Thank you to everyone who played apart in his rescue and adoption!
